The water was cold at first, but we got used to it quickly. If I had my swimsuit I would have went swimming in it for sure! I thought about going in my clothes but it would be a long drive home in wet clothes.

I had plain white Corelle that Mom got me when I lived with four guys in University. I wasn't crazy about plain white, but I miss the easiness and lightness of Corelle. I donated them to my current workplace for use in the lunch room.

I should add the good news.
I don't think a squirrel was actually living in my car. They found seeds all over. I remembered that I once spilled a ton of sunflower bird seed in the car and it went all over the back of the car, and into the cracks, and down below the spare tire.
So the good news is I'm the squirrel that put them there.

The fishing season opened yesterday so we saw the first couple of boats out yesterday.
No one was out when we were this morning, but we just saw a boat go by a few minutes ago.
Our ShamWow flew out of the boat on the drive back to the house, so I screamed back down the road in the car to find it. I did!! Can't lose the ShamWow!

Thanks for sharing your stories with the world Lisa, can't wait to see the boat in the water... with someone holding a fish perhaps?

I was at Mom's when she got the message about your adventure. She turns to me and says, "The boat Lisa and Jeff bought has a flat tire."
I looked at Julie and started to laugh. "Return it," I said. "That's not a boat."
That was too funny.
For what it's worth, I pictured you sitting in the boat with your pink helmet and goggles on, ready to talk to any stranger that stopped by.

Why do I pose for pictures? I'm an idiot. It seems like a good idea at the time and then "bang" there I am in her blog holding a big brush in my hand with a stupid grin on my face. You may remember other great lapses in judgment such as the binocular incident. Still trying to live that one down.

I too wonder about the lack of night activity. I also wonder why the deck is so dramatically stacked against the prey. The tracker's skill is beyond question. However,....
The time limit forces to the prey to use trails/roads a significant amount of time. The local guide knows all the trails. Horses on trails have a definite advantage. Seems like the trails/roads are usually wet and soft or even covered with snow.
The routes are generally repleat with bottlnecks/funnels (usually across open areas) so that, when the tracker loses the track, he just moves to the next bottleneck and looks for sign.
Still, I'll probably watch on occasion, but certainly not a fan as currently configured. The outdoor views are the attraction and the tracker is quite likeable.

Hey Mantracker just wondering why neither the prey or yourself move at night? It just seems like you both stop at the same time like you are told to stop for the night or something. Is it a rule to stop at night, if so its seems it would make it more realistic if you could? Thanks for your reply ahead of time.

As for your review on hoarders, I don't need to see it, in my earlier days of tv repair I seen enough of them. The room was down to a narrow path, the kitchen has no space on the counter etc. Oh they always smoked.
