Well okay I wasn’t hunting, but I tagged along! Herc* got 3 grouse within about 5 minutes of walking down a trail. He thinks that knows that two are spruce grouse and one might be is a ruffed grouse.
It was a really nice warm day. The fall leaves were beautiful. Here are some photos so you can be jealous that you don’t live in beautiful northern Ontario.
In fact it was such a nice day, after coming home, and cutting the grass, Surf and I took a 3 hour nap. Ahhhhh, Saturdays……
